Wow, I haven't been on blogger 4 AGGGEEEEEEESSSSSSSS. But since my days now consist of swimming and watching TV, I now have a bit of free time.

Slowest Holidays EVER!

AH! These holidays are going on forever!!!!! And we're hardly through half of them.

So, not much to report. I'm exhausted since I have to get up the same time as the rest of my family. Not great for my teen body clock. Aparently I'm just lazy, but I beg to differ. I seriosuly can't get to sleep any earlier!

UGH! AND MY BROS KEEP WALKING ROUND OUR HOTEL ROOM NAKED!!!!! EWWWW! Just EWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

And where is everyone? Does no one reply to emails anymore? I mean I'm away and I've still easily got the internet. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to be on this network exactly, but its unsecured, so theyre basically inviting me in. lolz

In related news, I am hoping that the guys from Ass's group will come over. Conveniently, Boxer is in that category. lol. Ass has moved to our group, coz the girls in her group are making her life a living hell for no apparent reaon. But I suspect jealousy. Aparrently she's a 'slut', and hangs around the guys too much. This indicates that the girls in question are jealous of her spending time with the guys.

So I'm not going ot taekwondo this week am I dad? Well we'll just see about that. I swear, I'll take a freakin bike ride there if I have no other way. The bottom line is, I AM NOT MISSING TAEKWONDO!

What, just coz of my ankle which I can easily walk on? Well you can just shove that load of crap up your ass dad, coz wether you like it or not, I AM GOING!

So freakin sick of some stuff!

List of stuff I'm sick of-

1. My ankle which I managed to roll AGAIN this arvo. Which hurts like hell now. Great. And so I can't walk on it AGAIN. I just want to be back to normal! I hate not being able to do things, like, hm, lets see, climb stairs at a normal speed! And for that matter, walking at a normal speed. Freakin hell!

2. Crutches. Well you know what, stuff the crutches. I'm walkin on this ankle whether my body likes it or not.

3. Flute. I've done more practice than usual this week, which I think is a bloody miracle considering the amount of homework I've got to do. So, naturally, at my flute lesson I manage to stuff up absolutely EVERYTHING! Scales, sound, fignering, tonguing, rhythm, you name, it, I stuffed it up.

4. Homework. Seriosuly! Coz, oh no, God forbid we actually run out of homework. Along with the half yearly tests we've got topic tests. WHY DO WE NEED TOPIC TESTS?! They're going to test us on one topic and then they're gonna test us on that topic AGAIN with a whole heap of other topics thrown in. WTF?!

5. Not seeing my buddys from taekwondo. Its really starting to bug me now. I'm going this week, sore ankle or not.

I miss physical activity :( (hehe dirty)

I miss doing things! Like my various after school activities. :(

But I can walk without crutches now. :)

I think me and Dylan are driving poor Odog insane. lol

So you're wondering what I'm doing home at 8:46am on a school day? Well I had gym last night. Lets just say big trick, big stuff up, big pain. lol And I can't walk on one leg.

The pain I can deal with. I'm just so freakin sick of being so immobile!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like feeling helpless.

So at least I'll get some study done today. My mums gonna call the doctor's when it opens and see if i can get an appointment.

Well, as I mentioned, it is my 100th post, so I'm glad its something big! :D

And of course I've got an excursion tomorrow. We only get like, one or two excursions per year!

Hopefully I'll be able to make it though. No busted up body part is going ot stop me from hanging out with my friends! Hehe. That sounded dirty. ;D

Ugh. Science and Commerce are confusing me atm. And we seem to be getting even more homework on top of all the study and tests we have to do. Me, Dylan, and Mil are patoently waiting for something to click in Commerce, but it just ain't doin it for us atm. lol. Actually, I think that Mil got it today. And me and Dylan are getting there... slowly.

And our Science teacher oh so kindly informed us that we have a Science test on Monday. Gee, thanks for that. You know, maybe next time it would be nice to tell us more than three days before! I mean, its not like we haven't got 10 tests and 3 assignments that are due in REALLY soon! FAR OUT!

Anyway, rant about school over. lol

Its really weird. I keep getitng these random happiness moments when it hits me just how good life is! :D Seriosuly, think about it. AND I'm sick atm. Last night my throat was killing me, and this morning my throat is worse and I've got a headache and I keep sneezing. :( This definitely makes my 'worst weekends ever' list. :(

And I'm really cold as well. Atm I've got my school jacket on (its one of the warmest jackets I have) and a blanket wrapped around me.

Teenage Sleep
All parents of teenagers have seen the changes that happen with puberty - the growth spurts, the mood changes, and also, the unlimited ability to sleep in on weekends. But this altered sleep pattern is not the teenageers being bone-lazy or anti-social - no, instead, it is their changing biology, lurking deep inside their brains.
How much you sleep depends on your age. Newborn babies will sleep, in a series of naps, for 16-18 hours per day. By age 5, this is down to about 11 hours, and continues to drop with age - until puberty and adolescence start. Then sleeping time increases again. So when the teenager says that they are not tired at 11 pm, they are usually being truthful. The second biological change is that adolescents need more sleep - between 9 and 10 hours every night. Indeed, one marker of the end of adolescence is the switch to the shorter and earlier adult sleep hours. This happens, on average, at 19.5 years in women, and 20.9 years in men.
This all means that the teenage years are very messy, in terms of sleep. They can't get to sleep early, and they need more sleep.
For adolescents, an early bedtime is, in most cases, simply biologically impossible. Adolescents need 9-10 hours of sleep, but often have to start school early - even earlier if they do sports. I am still getting up at 4.30 am to drive my daughter to rowing training. You can see the effects of this sleep deprivation when an adolescent switches over from holidays to regular school. When school term starts, they will sleep for two hours fewer on weeknights, and try desperately to make it up on the weekends. The result is that your average high-school student is sleep-walking through their school day, in a semi-permanent state of sleep deprivation.

Finally talked to Stella this arvo! MISSED HER SO MUCH! We've decided that we're gonna call each other every Saturday night from now on, and after our half yearlys are finished we're gonna have a party to celebrate. Well, not a real party. It'll just be a sleepover, watching a couple hundred episodes of NCIS (and definitely Lie To Me if the series is out on DVD by the time this sleep over happens), eating waaaaay too much junk, staying up waaaaaaay too late then waking up at like, 10 the next morning with a waaaaaaaaay too massive sugar hangover. lol. That's mine and Stella's version of a party. And hopefully Essie will be able to come. She's Stel's friend, and I luv her to bits, but only ever talk to her when we're both over at Stella's. She actually jumped out a window to escape her maths teacher. lol.

Ugh. Been so tired lately. Its probably something to do with the fact that I stay up reading/writing until around 10:30. lol. I just can't stop when I'm on a roll. I've really got to go to bed earlier. lol. Dylan's been heaps tired too lately, but he said he goes to bed at like, 8:30. lol.

So not much else to report. But had a maths test today. It was harder than the English ones, and I finished with only ten minutes to spare on the noncalculator section. Can't remember how I did in the calculator section. But then again, we only got 40mins to do these ones, whereas we got 45mins-65mins to do the English ones.

Ugh! There are like, no good taekwondo pictures from my club to use as a desktop bckground on my computer. Atm its a newspaper article titled, 'More than just the martial arts.'. Its an interveiw that they did with an instructor. Its not great, but its the best I've got... lol. I had to change it coz me bros were sick of having it as a Twilight pic. lol

Wii Fit + Other Random Stuff

So for Mothers' Day my mum got a Wii Fit, and my bros have been on it nonstop. lol. She's hardly gotten a go.

I'm gonna try out for a uni course. They're offering it to gifted and talented kids. So I fit that category perfectly. lol ;P I was getting some info from the deputy pricipal today and she was saying that there was alot of interest from the seniour students in the course, so it will be hard for me to get in. But meh. I'll never know until I try!

I've got a taekwondo grading soon! Can't wait! I'm pretty sure I'll pass. My Sabum Nim wouldn't of let me grade if he didn't think that I was ready. :) CAN'T WAIT!

Btw, Sabum Nim translates to 'honourable instructor'. Just thought I'd chuck that in for those of you who aren't fluent in Korean. ;)

lol. In this maths test we had, it was dead silent and then a few rooms down we just heard 'its a small world' playing coz sumone was watchin Shrek. lol. It was heaps funny.

That also happened in taekwondo when there was dead silence and then you just heard our instructor's phone going off, and it was Homer going, 'Da da da-da, hey! Da da da da da-da! HEY!' lol. We couldn't stop laughing. lol

So I'm missing my grading but my instructor said he can grade me in class next week! :D

UUGGGGHHH. So freakin FULL!

I am so completely full from today. Me and some friends got together and we had HEAPS of food, but we ate it all anyway. And now I've had a massive dinner coz it was too good not to eat. Ugh. SOOOOOOOO fulllllll.

Good news: I am ready for my next taekwondo grading already! :D Bad news: I can't make it coz thats when me and some of my friends are going to this comp which we have been working on for at least 3/4 of a year. Ugh. :( I'm dreading telling my instructor. I think I was the only one ready to go to this gradign, and now I'm bailing on him. Ugh. I hate to disappoint him. He works so hard to be a good instructor.

King Hemant

Just got back from my grandparents' place. They were lookin after my pet hermit crab Hemant. He's so cute, but hes getting REALLY grumpy in his old age.

OH YEAH! Went to an ANZAC service today. I marched along with my primary school in my high school uniform. I felt tall.

But it kind of annoys me that more people don't turn up to the services. Like, only about 60 people were there from my primary school were there, and it has like, 300 people or so. And I bet hardly any kids from my high school march. I just think that these people died for us, the least we could do was show them some respect for half an hour. This doesn't have to be marching or anything, just... I don't know. Watch a ceremony on Tv if you can't make it to a real one.

So I'm back from my one week trip to somewhere I would rather not be.

But some good almost came of it. I was THIS CLOSE to getting this really cute guy at the botanical gardens. But I couldn't catch him away from his family. -.- not happy. Therefore I couldn't flirt with him nd couldnt get his msn. Its such a shame. He was sooooooooo cute too. :(

Nyway, apart from that not much else to report. I got ALOT of reading/writing done. Which was AWESOME :D

Easter was heaps fun! Went over to my grandma's house and had a MASSIVE lunch. I got sick from eating too much chocolate/potato bake. MMMM. I love my grandma's potato bake. Yum.

Bike Riding

Just took Rufuss (my littlest bro) bike riding and he started riding up the last hill and started crying so I'm just like, 'Whats wrong?' and he goes, 'I'm exhausted.'

And so I get him up the top of the hill and mum and dad come out and see him crying and go 'What did you do to him? Rararar. You're a bad sister. RARARAR!'

WTF? Do you know how much I just wanted to go on a bike ride by myself? How much I didn't want to babysit my bro? So I did them a favour, and took Rufuss with me and what do I get in return? Because the hill (which they asked me to take him down and up) was too big for Rufuss, I get ,y head bitten off. Because he didn't have enough stamina. And may I ask, how is this my fault?!

So I did finish that short story in time for the competition. I hope they accept it! It was due in on the 9th and thats when it was sent but it wont get to sydney for a few days. But hopefully they will see that it was sent on the 9th nd accept it! :D

Apparently this really tough English teacher likes my writing, so that put me in a heaps good mood.

Have done absolutely nothing at all today. I covered my dream diary in the morning and thats all. It took longer than expected. Now I'm looking for any writing comps on the internet, and I found this awesome line.

I think someones been reading my diary. Ever since we got that typewriter I've been typing it out on that then putting it in this folder thing. So I opened the folder last night and all the sheets had were in the wrong order. Whoops. Very subtle. Seriously! Can't people just stay out of my stuff! My Awesome Gymnastics Coach!

I miss my old gym coach, Lily. She's one of the best coaches ever! Well in my opinion anyway. lol. I email Lily, but all of us at gym miss seeing her there. She was a very bubbly person and we all love her! :)

Just got an email from her. When I was in year two or something at gym me and one of my friends pretended to be animals and Lily was the farmer (don't ask, we were young and insane). I was a pony and my name was Trixy. And at the end of that last email she goes, 'Cya Trixy'. I'd forgotten about it till then. :) Lily is sooooooo awesome! I hope she comes back to coach us again one day! :)

Typewriter

Don't ask about the reposting it three times thing. My computer was stuffing up.

Well I've decided that I am now officially over Nina and Rabbit, and anyone else who doesn't like me for being me. Why should I waste my time on them? Anway, this is the last you'll hear of them.

So today we got a typewriter for like, $4. Its awesome! But it needs a new ribbon. But I still love it! I can just imagine myself sitting up typing my book out on it! Its going to be great!

Still on a high from Taekwondo, so I may as well enjoy it because I can guarnatee that its not going ot stick around long.

So major disaster in my life right now-
I was talking to one of my besties from primary school the other day on msn and shes all like, 'You havn't even changed since year six, I'm too grown up for you, I don't like you anymore, I don't want to be your friend anymore.' Atm I'm feelin like, 'Screw you Nina, I'd rather be a kid at heart than an adult.' But this 'Screw you' feeling is only coz of the high from taekwondo. It'll start hurting again soon. And its made it doubly worse because my other bestie from primary school, Rabbit, apparently shares Nina's veiw.

At least I've still got Krystal, Christine and Shelly form primary. I've been emailing Krystal lately and in her last email she's like, 'Going to high school shows u how much u need the ppl in the past to be in ur future, and i want u to be in mine 4ever', which made me feel soooooo good. I can't wait to see those three again. In primary our group was me, Nina, Rabbit, Krystal, Christine and Shelly.

Argh! I hate this! This is impossibly painful. I lost two friends. Two! This sucks. They are the type of friends you think you'll have forever, but before you know it they just diasappear...

There goes the adrenaline rush. Sigh.

So I am a writer. I'm writing two books atm and I want to become a published author some day. And since reading some stuff that the other authors (published and unpublished) have posted I feel that it is really possible for me to get a book published some day!

Relatives, No Matter How Distant

I feel so sad atm. My Grandma's cousin died a few weeks ago. I hadn't even met her, but Grandma grew up nextdoor to her and they were really close. They talked on the phone every other day and I think they saw each other once a fortnight or something. My poor grandma. She just sent me this reply to an email saying how she still couldn't beleive that Ellie wasn't at the other end of the phoneline to talk to.

Something thats bugging me. Odog and Mot are fighting at school over something stupid but they are both set on not apologizing. So, whats really pissing me off is this. Why are they fighting about something dumb when there are so many other more important things to concentrate on?! Like my Grandma's best friend has just died? How would they feel if the other suddenly died? Would they finally get their heads out of their asses and realise that it doesn't really matter?! Why the f*** do people fight about dumb stuff like that?! Don't they realise that high school friends should treasure their time together, because it isn't going to be around forever?! I'm dreading the end of high school, I'm not going to waste my f****** time anymore arguing about stupid miniscule matters!

Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! I am now officially pissed at both of them.

The Good In People! =D

Ok, here's something to think about. You must agree that everybody has at least some good characteristics about them, right? Eg. Hitler is one of the people on my short hate list, but he was loyal to what he beleived.

So come on people. I'm probably just saying this coz im always more emotional just before I go to bed, but just try this for me. Pick someone who you don't like. Like at school, an after school activity or anywhere. And just pick somethign that is totally awesome about them and concentrate on that. Seriously, people need to do that more often. I do it, and it makes life a whole of alot more happier for me and the person I dislike. If you concentrate on that one good quality, you might find that you actually like them a little!

I'm in an extremely good mood now! lol. People are awesome! =D

Favourtie Places!

Since Sonja AND Katie have posted their fave places, I thought I may as well.
This is in order of favourtism btw. Lol. Favourtism.

1. Wherever my friends happen to be
2. School (which is where I usually am with my friends, so that’s why it gets 2nd. Plus, and im such a nerd for saying this, I just like school! Most people sticking together and being loyal to our school, I just enjoy the general atmosphere.)
3. A tie between my Taekwondo dojo and Gymnastics. Whenever I’m there, I can’t concentrate on anything apart from TKD and Gym. Nothing. Sure, I can perhaps follow a train of thought which leads me to something from the outside world, but I can never continue to think about it. The thought is only there for a few seconds and then it disappears completely to be replaced by something TKD/Gym related. When I got angry last year, my immediate thought was, ‘At least I’ve got TKD tonight to release some anger,’ but it doesn’t work like that. I just CAN’T think of that there. At all. I get my power from my techniques, not anger because I can’t feel angry there anyway. Well, at least not because of the outside world. I have never felt angry at TKD. But I have at Gym. I’ve been doing that for 6 or 7 years now, so I was bound to get angry once in a while. But again, not because of something going on in the outside world. Perhaps I couldn’t get a simple technique or something. Oh, that reminds me, I was so pissed at a certain little pain in the ass called Connie. She’s in Year five or something, had never done gymnastics in her life. So she rolls up on the first day and shows up all us ‘ancients’* as we are called. So at this point we didn’t mind. So what if someone is better than us? We didn’t really care. Something that they drill into us at gym is ‘Don’t give a f*** how everyone else is going, just concentrate on how good you are compared to how you were last week.’ But then it started to get irritating. She didn’t do any work, just mucked around, chatted did no training at all while we ancients were slaving away. Yet she was still better than us. We were slightly annoyed at this. But then we really got pissed off. Because the smug little thing started BRAGGING about it. She’d like, come up to us if we’d just mucked up a skill and go, ‘What was that? I could do that!’ or something along those lines. Argh. It’s really getting quite off putting.
4. Anyway, my next favourite place is a library. Preferably my local library coz I know the set up but any library will do. Its got that library smell. And its really peaceful.
5. Ummm… this really nice shady place I found when bike riding one day.

Gtg. Homework, pets, homework, and oh, did I mention homework to take care of.

Anyway, Ummmmmm... Oh yeah! So I went to the library this morning for one of my assignments. And even though I havn't been there in AGES for some strange reason (I would live at the library if I could) that really nice librarian remebered my name! I really need to go to the library more often. It is one of the few places where I can read in peace. Others include the balcony and my bedroom, but thats about it. Maybe I can make it a weekly thing. Like I could go there every week on a certain afternoon. Take my homework and a book and just stay there the whole arvo. But that probably won't happen, because my mum really isn't going to feel like driving me there. I'll try to figure something out.

Ummmm....... Went to coles with my dad and bros to do the grocery shopping because I needed to do some research for my cooking assignment. And in the car on the way home I got my brothers to tell me stuff that they'd done that week and from watchng their expressions and body language I would try to tell if they'd were telling the truth. I got it right most of the time too. But it looks so much easier on TV. If the microexpressions and twitches and stuff were as obvious as they are on TV, then catching liars would be a breeze. But the fact is, its not that easy. But I think I'm getting better at it. It would be sooo good to be able to tell when people are lying really easily.

Ummmmmmmm.......... I better get back to my homework or I'll never get it done.

Scales

So I'm gonna do my music exam and I've got to be able to play like, 20 scales. Hang on, I'll count them. 3 Major scales, 3 Harmonic Scales, 3 Melodic Scales, 3 Major Arpeggios, 3 Minor Arpeggios, 2 Major Broken Chords, 2 Minor Broken Chords, 3 Chromatic Scales (but those are easier coz if u can do one u can do them all) and 3 Major Scales in Thirds. So all up... 25 scales. I need to be able to play these perfectly (from memory btw). Along with 5 or 6 songs, which I also need to be able to play perfectly.

But I'm not particuarly worried. Scales help so much with my playing noramal music, they're almost essential to it. Its possible to play them without it, but they help heaps. So chances are looking pretty slim that I'm going to be able to get 25 scales and 5 songs perfect by exam time, but that isn't going to stop me from trying. Plus, if my teacher doesn't think I'll be able to do it, she won't let me do my exam this year which means instead of a bad mark this year, by the time the exams come around next year I'll get like an A+ or something. Which would be awesome!

And now I'm in a surprisingly good mood. :O Which is kind of weird considering my position scales-wise atm. lol. ah well.

Had my taekwondo grading today. It was awesome! I love watching the black belts do their thing. And this grading was considerably easier than last time. We didn’t even have to do our patterns! Which I was kind of relieved at because it means I had less of a chance to stuff up, but I was mainly disappointed coz I have been practicing my pattern sooooooooooooooooooooo much its not funny. But anyway, I think we went Ok.

So… Valentine’s Day today! And I’m not going to say Happy Valentine’s Day again because I did on my last post and I don’t want to waste valuable energy. And yes, I do realize that this has taken up more energy than if I had just simply said Happy Valentine’s Day, but I feel like being stubborn atm. Lol

In such a strange mood. I’m happy coz I’m still thrilled from the grading today but I’m also kinda sad coz Valentine’s Day is reminding me of what I’m most likely never going to have. :’-C. I love that boy so much.

But still, I think the high from taekwondo is winning out atm. Just.

Yeah. I just read Sonja's blog and it reminded me of Lily. She is exactly like that. Untouchably happy. She's in my class and today she seemed in a good mood despite it being our school's Valentine's Day.

So some other not so good stuff. Katie blacked out at school today! Twice! I was at a meeting at the time. Her dad thinks that it might be a relapse of what she had before. S***t I'm worried. But I like the txt she sent me. I asked her wat had happened and she said that she had blacked out twice, but she was just feeling dizzy, tired and nauseous now. And to end the txt she said, 'Don't worry about me'. Right... that makes sense. 'I blacked out twice, so dont worry about me' ...WTF??????!!!!!

Taekwondo grading tomorrow! Hopefully I get to go up a belt! YAY!

Ok, I’m pretty sure I’m going insane with this situation. How is it even possible to haul yourself out of bed in the morning with the knowledge that your friends are fighting?

Basically, Katie is fighting with Mit and Dylan because Dylan doesn’t want to be as close a friend to Katie. I can see both sides of the situation. Both perspectives. I think that this whole situation has gone a bit far, though. But it is kind of a De ja vu for me in a way…

Also, something happened at lunch today. Not quite sure I’ve got the whole story though. I was at this meeting. From Mit, Dylan and Odog I have gathered that Katie was writing out the lyrics to this song (she posted them on her blog last night if you are wondering what they are by the way) and Dylan asked to see them and she let him read them, and that’s as far as I got. And from Kirsten and Boofhead at the back gate this afternoon I have also gathered that… need to start a new sentence now. Well, Dylan’s b’day is on the day that our school is doing these Valentines Day roses. You can go buy one and they will deliver it to that person in class with a message. You can send red love ones and white ones for friendship. Anyway, because Dylan’s b’day is on the day they are delivering the roses, I’m gonna get him a white one with a ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY!’ message. However, I think Katie only got half the story at lunch or something and just heard that I was sending him a rose. So she was kind of pissed off. Don’t know if she hung around to get the end of the story, so I sent her a text explaining. And just to make something perfectly clear-

I love Dylan to bits as a FRIEND, but that is all. I do not have a crush on him in any way shape or form. I love him, but I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH HIM!

One last thing I wanted to say. My sympathies for Mit. The two year mark. Hopefully its getting easier with time. Hopefully. But maybe not. I’m really sorry. :-C

Also worried about Mute. In Food Tech., he said that it had been a really bad day, but not why. Really hope he feels better. We made fun of this video we were watching, and he laughed a little, but it was forced. :-C

One of my many, many dilemmas

Is that even how you spell dilemma? Anyway...



Scince I realy don't feel like working myself up over the stuff going on with three of my besties, I'm gonna post bout something else that has me... well, I don't know.



So at gym I've got this massive crush on this guy named Lachlan. Now, I know for a fact that Lachlan has a crush on this chick who comes to gym only occaisonaly, like once a month or something. They used to go out, but they broke up. So, major problem there, he loves someone else. And, even if by some miracle he suddenly loved me instead and asked me out, I couldn't say yes. Because one of my other besties from gym, Hannah, has also got a crush on him, and I wouldn't risk our friendship over a guy, no matter what she says.



So, people, any ideas?

Back To School Time! (YES!!!)

I’m back at school! It’s good and bad, but the good outweighs the bad.

Good-

- Get something to do (I hate feeling my brain slowly melting because of lack of mental challenges. School presents many, many, many challenges.) *15 points*
- Get away from family members. (As you might have noticed, I’m not thrilled at the prospect of spending all of my time with my parents and bros) *5 points*
- Get to see my high school friends again!!!!!!!! *infinity points*

So, the total so far is infinity and 20 points. Now I shall add up the Bad Points)

Bad-

- Not as much time to read and do other recreational stuff. *-5 points*
- Not as many opportunities to see other friends not from high school. (NOTE: This does not mean NO opportunities to see my other friends. There is still this thing called the weekend that exists.) *-500 points*

So, after the bad points are factored in, that is… infinity – 485 points. Which, means, the good points win! YAY!

So, my class is Ok this year. I’m in one of the top maths classes! YAY! And so is Katie, which is really good coz she can finally stop with all the, ‘I’m not smart anymore’ crap. And I’m also with some of my friends. In my class out of my good friends there is Odog, Emilily, Dylan, and the other Em. Oh, and Motor Mouth. It’s feels really weird without Puzzle there, though. Like something’s not quite right.

Oh yeah. A few nights ago, Dominator and his family came round. Dominator’s parents were friends with my parents with high school so our families see each other once in a while. Dominator’s a year younger than me, and his brother, NSL (No Social Life) is 3 years older than me. So we saw them, and it was soooooooooo awesome, coz I havnt seen Dominator and NSL in AGES! I email Dominator, but its still really good to see him. And I don’t even email NSL. I don’t have his email. SO I really, really enjoyed myself. Lol It was funny, coz Dominator was being camera shy. Lol. Got the best pics. Lol. Fun.

Anyway, GTG. Books to cover and timetables to print out.

I'm in such a good mood coz 2nite 4 dinner the family of my mums friend came round. They’ve been friends since high school, so our families see each other a bit. In their family, there is my mums friend (anne) her husband (rory) and their two sons, nick (13) and drew (16). Kind of tired atm so ill post 2morrow.

Stella (one of my best friends ever) rang asking when we could see each other again. We organized something and when I got off the phone my mum said to me, ‘It’s like she’s desperate for something to do, calling you and seeing you all the time. She mustn’t have a life.’ Those weren’t her exact words, but it was what she said in a nutshell. What she said was a bit longer than that and went for several minutes, but that’s a summary of it.

Seriously, what is wrong with her?! I’m so sick off my parents putting my friends down! It’s bad enough that I have to hear them betraying their friends by going on about them behind their backs, but I can barely endure them doing it to mine! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, for any of my Merewether friends reading this, I want to let you know, that they’ve been doing it to you too. After my party, in the car on the way home, they were specifically filling me in on all of your faults. I hated it, I felt like opening the car door and jumping out just to escape it. I swear, at this rate I’m going to go insane. I can just feel my mind unwinding with anger and the torture of it.

I want school to go back. I can’t stand this for much longer.

Glasses Update

So I just got my glasses! The case is really cool! It is flippy, and when you flip it, it changes between red and blue. Its kind of hard to explain and I've gtg now. Bye!

Random Stuff

Well, turns out that I need reading glasses. I have to wear them for any close-up activities that I do for a long time. I found this out a few days ago. In about 15mins I’m going to go pick them up. There was this really hot optometrist guy there. He wasn’t the one that tested my eyes, but he helped me choose my glasses. Just thought that I’d mention that…

Anyway, I went horse riding this morning. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! My horse seemed determined to injure me, because she went out of her way to run me into any branches which I wasn’t short enough to duck. She also annoyed the hell out of the horse in front of us, the instructor’s horse, and got a kick (from the horse in front of us, not me) for it. It didn’t stop her though. But overall it was fun.

I just started reading ‘Airman’ by Eoin Colfer. It’s pretty good. It is by Eoin Colfer after all, so what do you expect? I am also reading ‘Eclipse’ by Stephie Meyer. It’s the third book in the ‘Twilight’ series. It is also a good book.

From The World of Yesterday Night

I wrote this on my laptop last night. And I won't be checking my emails for a while. No time recently. Anyway, here you go-

I am writing to you, once again, from a Word document on my laptop. I’m trying to distract myself from something.

ODog’s party a few days ago. Fancy dress scavenger hunt. I went as a lady bug. Of course me and the rest of the girls who went managed to get an attempt to pick us up made by several guys we don’t know. I was umming and ahhing over whether to accept their kind offer or not when one of them said that they had a double bed at home, but decided against it. lol. (KIDDING btw. Never in a million years)

Anyway, the scavenger hunt took place on a very busy street, so we did get a few odd looks, but that just made it soooo much more fun. Anyway, it was definitely in the top three best parties ever.

Two new obsessions recently-
Eoin (pronounced ‘Owen’ btw) Colfer books. He wrote the Artemis Fowl series which I was, and still am obsessed with. But in the hols I read ‘The Wish List’, ‘The Supernaturalist’ and ‘Half Moon Investigations’, which are also by Eoin. You cannot call yourself a bookworm unless you’ve read something by Eoin Colfer. Well, you can but anyway…. If you have not read anything by Eoin Colfer, you have to. The Artemis Fowl series is a fantasy mixed with action and mystery. They’re my favourite so far. And then there is The Wish List. It’s about this chick that is killed and then is half good and half bad so she has to go back to Earth as a ghost thing to help this old man with stuff he wants to do before he dies so that she can get some more good points and go to heaven. It isn’t focused on religious stuff, and its got a really good plot and I loved it. Half Moon Investigations is a detective one. The plot is a bit too complicated to explain, but it’s still awesome. A little heartbreaking at the end, but the epilogue is happy. The Supernaturalists is awesome. No-sponsors (the future equivalent of orphans), action, betrayal, a little romance, weird blue creatures which are thought to be bad but actually turn out to be goodies. It has got everything. Like Half Moon Investigations, it’s sad at the end, but a little of the romance puts it in a better mood.
My other obsession is bike riding. I go around some paths that I haven’t been down for a while and I am re-learning them. Some excellent scenery. There is this spot just perfect for a picnic. We had our Year Six fun day there. Water bomb fights and stuff. lol. This really nerdy kid, I forget how to spell his name, I’ll just call him Walter, anyway, Walter, because he had some weird need to be different, instead of using normal balloon water bombs in the fight, had made a whole stack of origami water bombs. ORAGAMI! They were pretty strong though coz they didn’t fall apart when he filled them up. But still. ORAGAMI?!

I also saw one of my really good primary school friend recently, Stella. I went over to her house a few days ago. She was one of my besties in primary and even though we go for months without seeing each other, when we do eventually meet up we still have soooooo much fun. It’s just like we see each other every day, coz our friendship is still a strong as it ever was.

I was at the library today (surprise, surprise) and one of the librarians (I’m pretty sure most of them somehow know me, one way or another) saw me reading Twilight (and before you pass judgement, it isn’t actually that bad once you get into it) and she was wondering if I had any ideas on something they had been struggling with. They wanted to have a Twilight promotional thing, coz they wanted a way to get more teenagers into the library. One of the other libraries had a Twilight ball, and they got more teenagers from then on. So, if anyone out there has any ideas at all, please help me out! I was thinking maybe a dress-up movie night or something. But, as you are probably all aware, my brain doesn’t really work that well in the hols, so I need some help.

Going to go now. A show I really want to watch is coming on.
