So I did finish that short story in time for the competition. I hope they accept it! It was due in on the 9th and thats when it was sent but it wont get to sydney for a few days. But hopefully they will see that it was sent on the 9th nd accept it! :D
Apparently this really tough English teacher likes my writing, so that put me in a heaps good mood.
Have done absolutely nothing at all today. I covered my dream diary in the morning and thats all. It took longer than expected. Now I'm looking for any writing comps on the internet, and I found this awesome line.
Its from the winning entry of the Young Writer's Award 2008. Its called 'The Life of Brian (or lack thereof)' by Maree Spratt. Anyway, heres this line that I just fell in love with.
She laughs. She has a loud, machine gun cackle that makes you want to hit the ground in case
she tilts her head in your direction.
Lol. People who have heard me laugh would know why I love that line. lol
