My shoulders/ ankle are soooooooo sore! But afterschool sports which you haven't done for at least 8 weeks do that to a gal

Anyway, not much to report. The boys are boofheads, the girls shake their heads sadly, the usual.

Mit made it look like I wet my pants today at lunch! lol

I jumped about three feet in the air when this random guy started yelling at the top of his voice out of his front door this arvo. He didn't sound happy. I thought he was talking to me for a minute, coz I was walking right past his house.

Anyway, for those who can't tell the difference between effect and affect, here's what the Sydney Writers' Centre had to say-

‘Affect’ is a verb and means ‘to influence’. For example:
‘The rain affected Rambo because he couldn’t go for a walk.’‘Effect’ is a noun and essentially means ‘a result’.
‘The rain had no effect on Rambo as he was wearing a coat.’ There are occasions when the two swap roles, and ‘affect’ becomes a noun and ‘effect’ a verb, but they are rare and if you stick to the rules above, you should be right most of the time.
